With proper installation, wefts deliver long-lasting wear, minimal maintenance, and a beautiful, natural grow-out. They also allow you to keep much of your natural hair tucked away beneath the extension tracks, offering convenience, protection, and ease of daily styling.
At Lux Strands, we do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every client’s hair, needs, and lifestyle are unique. For this reason, we offer multiple weft types and installation methods—ranging from beaded to hand-tied—so your stylist can tailor your wefts to your hair’s texture, density, and desired aesthetic.
Wefts may not be for you if your goal is maximum versatility, such as wearing your hair in very high ponytails, slicked-back styles, or frequent updos that require full 360° freedom at the root. Strand-by-strand methods offer greater movement at the base and may be a better match if you prioritize that level of flexibility.

First, you will fill out our pre-consultation form. This pre-consultation form is designed to help our team get to know you, your hair needs and history, and your hair goals. This will also help your stylist know exactly which products to use for your specific hair type and goals. After completion of the form, we will reach out to you in 24 to 48 hours to schedule a consultation. Click your location below to complete step one.

At Lux Strands, we aim to make your extensions journey as personalized as possible. This is why every extension install requires a consultation. With a personalized consultation, your stylist will discuss your hair goals, assess your hair’s health, and determine the perfect length, density, and texture for a seamless blend.

When scheduling your extension transformation, we require a non-refundable retainer at the time of booking to secure your appointment. After booking, our white glove ordering service will assist you with ordering your hair from one of our preferred retailers. Our team is not permitted to provide you with your extension options without your retainer. This is to make sure that our staff can focus on booked appointments. We cannot install hair outside of our preferred retailers. All retainers, services, and orders are final.

On the day of your appointment, you’ll experience your couture one of a kind installation tailored to your hair’s specific needs. This strand-by-strand method is one of the most seamless extension methods available. The duration of the service depends on the amount of hair being added, the size of the bonds, and the size of your head.
