About Your Lead Stylist
Sandy is a master hairstylist and extension specialist with over 20 years of experience in healthy hair care and advanced hair extension methods. As Lux Strands’ lead stylist, she has mastered a wide range of extension techniques and developed proprietary methods designed to protect the health and integrity of the natural hair across all textures and densities.
Drawing on decades of hands-on experience, Sandy has trained the Lux Strands team to deliver expert-level installations with the same attention to detail, technical precision, and commitment to hair health that have defined her career. Every Lux Strands stylist is trained to prioritize natural hair health, seamless results, proper tension and placement, and a customized approach to each client’s texture, density, scalp needs, and long-term hair goals.
Our approach is intentionally texture-inclusive and extends to clients experiencing thinning, alopecia, medically related hair loss, and other forms of hair loss. From traditional extensions to customized hair replacement solutions, our team is trained to create natural-looking results while preserving and supporting the client’s existing hair whenever possible.
Throughout her career, Sandy has styled hair for television sets, photoshoots, special events, recording artists, professional athletes, and more. Today, that expertise shapes the standard of care across Lux Strands. Late, No Show, & Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy, we provide our clients with appointment reminders; including an appointment reminder 24 hours before their scheduled appointments. We understand that things happen, and that is why we kindly ask that if you find yourself unable to keep your appointment, you provide us with a 24-hour notice. This 24-hour notice will allow the refund or future use of your deposit. Deposits are otherwise non-refundable and non-transferable. All cancelations must be done online through our website. Cancellations through email, voicemail, or social media will not be valid. Clients who do not honor their appointments by failing to show up and failing to provide appropriate 24-hour notice will forfeit the refund or future use of their deposit. All rescheduled appointments must choose a rescheduling date within 15 days to ensure the deposit is used for a future appointment. If the rescheduling date has not been selected within 15 days, the deposit will be forfeited and non-refundable. Deposits are non-refundable, and can only be transferred in the timeframe described above. All pre-ordered hair is non-refundable and will be disposed of if not picked up within 30 days of ordering or at the time of scheduled appointments. Lux Strands does not offer refunds for guest errors, deposits for late cancellations, hair extensions, wigs, or services rendered. This cancellation policy ensures our availability for our clients.
Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be refused in order to not compromise the quality of service. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment becomes a no-show and will be charged a no-show fee. Style Seat appointments with a failed pre-authorization hold will be cancelled and regarded as a no-show. This late policy allows us to ensure our clients receive their services on time and without delay.
Late Cancel and No Shows are a 50% fee.
